Last night (opening night) was fantabulous! So lekka to see some old faces back and some lovely new ones. Absolutely loved the theme. Reminds one of what a wonderful country we are and that we have so much to be inspired by. The performances were excellent, I think this is the best Melodrama in a good few years now, lots of laughter, great set and costumes and blerry awesome locals !

What a lekker opening night! Great to see some new faces alongside the usual suspects and welcome back some old one’s too. I did miss Zwaai – was hoping to see his famous Mankini – ha ha ha. It was a great evening filled with lots of laughter, as usual. The costumes were spectacular, choreography on point, compere on fire (not literally) and the tunes were brilliant. Well done Margie & team. Break a leg and hoping you sell-out for the rest of the shows.

Fabulous show! Loved the visuals (specially African Queen) and the energy and enthusiasm of the performers. We went home on a high. Well done to all involved. Melodrama is a highlight of the Sedgefield calendar. Wonderful community effort.
